1.) Account Setup:
We will setup your account after we have received payment and we and/or our payment partner(s) have screened the order(s) incase of fraud. It is your responsibility to provide us with an email address which is not @ the domain(s) you are signing up under.

2.) Content:
All services provided by us may only be used for lawful purposes. This includes, but not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, minor pornography. Examples of unacceptable material include IRC Bots, Warez Sites, Pirated Software, Hate sites, Hack programs and archives. SmoothVPS reserves the right to decide if content is allowed on our servers. IRC Usage is strictly prohibited unless given authorization by SmoothVPS. You must submit a support ticket requesting permission to use any IRC related services.

3.) Bandwidth Usage and Allowance:
Bandwidth is allotted in specific amounts which you may find under your plan details. Bandwidth resets at the first of every month. SmoothVPS reserves the right to suspend users exceeding their bandwidth allotment. Bandwidth overage will be billed at .75/GB overage. Users may upgrade bandwidth at any time to avoid the overage charge, however may not upgrade if bandwidth has already exceeded allotment. 

4.) SPAM Policy:
SmoothVPS allows ZERO SPAM to be transmitted on our network. We understand that a host can not possibly monitor every message sent out from their server, and thus will issue a warning on first offence. Users are typically given 12 or 24 hours to supply us with the proper information in regards to the spam report. If no information is given to SmoothVPS within the allotted time period, user will be immediately suspended until information has been supplied. SmoothVPS reserves the right to charge a $15 reactivation fee on all servers that have been suspended due to spam complaint(s). 

5.) Shared Resource Policy:
SmoothVPS provides Virtual Private Servers that share processor usage. We will not tolerate abusive virtual servers on our equipment. Any user found using excessive server resources which is having a negative effect on other users will receive a warning for the first offence. If the problem continues, SmoothVPS reserves the right to suspend the virtual private server and take further action as necessary.
